Dayna picked up her first pair of sticks at the age of six, starting a lifelong passion of playing the drums. She grew up in New Orleans affording her the experience of playing the local circuit in the French Quarter and the World’s Fair, gaining exposure to a myriad of styles and influences which is demonstrated in the diversity of the music she plays. After more than a decade-long battle with cancer, Dayna has left our stage to go rockin' on heaven's door. Her battle was valiant and she leaves a legacy of love and music, and a profound love for music. Dayna's site will remain as a snapshot tribute to her life in music.


City of Hope was the cavalry in Dayna's cancer battle and took her fight past the odds. Dayna raised funds for COH as their spokesperson and at one of her favorite fundraisers, the annual Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer. Her friends formed the Stickin' It to Cancer Team, walking in honor of Dayna in 2008. Over $1,000 was raised. Please check back for information on The Walk for Hope 2009.
